Katarina Wit was born 3 December 1965, from Staaken (East Germany). Her continuous search for opportunities leads her to explore new areas of work and to gain experience in many fields like acting, writing, producing, presenting and figure skating. Katarina Witt ended her amateur career following the 1988 World Championships. Within the next 3 years, she'll be performing in North America and Canada her first professional tour along with Brian Boitano, the Calgary Olympic Champion and World Champion. The event is such a success that Madison Square Garden, New York has sold out an entire show of skating for the first time in the last ten years. Her third Olympic Games appearance in Lillehammer took place in 1994. After traveling the US for ten years as the host of "Stars on Ice" as well as participating in professional international competitions. With her production company WITH WITT, she is responsible for numerous international ice-based shows which are designed, created, headlined and produced.
